Ingredients:
- 4 c. broccoli florets
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs, dry & plain
- 1/2 c. Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Steam your broccoli for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Chop broccoli into tiny pieces with a knife
- Squeeze out the excess water by pressing on the broccoli with a towel. Transfer to a bowl.
- Add the rest of your ingredients to a large bowl except for the Panko, and mix.
- Scoop out tablespoon size balls of the mixture and roll in Panko. Place on lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes then turn them over and bake for 10 more minutes or until golden and crispy.
